The Delhi University, school of open learning (DU SOL), is an integral part of the Delhi University, established in the year 1962. B.A course/programme
- The benchmark for DU SOL admission is mentioned underneath :

- 65% or more in total with minimum 75% marks in English as core subject or 65% marks in Elective or functional (One language at least (English only) and three academic subjects) English for general category candidates.
- 58.5% or more in agglomeration with minimum 67% marks in English as core subject in the licensed exam or 58.5% marks in Elective or functional (One language at least (English only) and three academic subjects) English for Other Backward Classes category candidates.
- 61.75% or more in accumulation with minimum 71.25% marks in English as a core subject in the licensed examination or 61.75% marks in Elective or functional (One language at least (English only) and three academic subjects) English for PWD category candidates.
- For Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes candidates, minimum passing marks in 10+2 category is required along with one language [only English] and three academic subjects.
Bachelor of Commerce (hons.) Course

- 55% marks or more in accumulation in the qualifying examinations, 60% marks or above in agglomeration in the vocational stream in the licensed examinations for general category candidates.

DU SOL Admission Procedure
Step 1 : Online Registration
- For this refer to the official website of the DU SOL.
- Click on the “New Applicant Sign Up” to create a new account by clicking on the “New Registration” tab.
- Enter the required details in the “Create New Account” page.
- Click on the “Create password” tab.
- Check all the details mentioned in the application form to make sure there are no errors whatsoever.
- Now, click on the “Register” tab.
- After the registration is over, candidates will be given a username and password.
- A confirmation mail of completing the registration process is sent on the registered email ID and mobile number.
- After you have been registered, move on to the “Continue to homepage” button on the page to proceed with the application procedure.
Step 2 : Filling up the Application Form
After registration, candidates have to tap on the “Continue to homepage” tab to move ahead in the process and fill the following details in the DU SOL application form 2022.

After entering these personal details, they are required to click on the “Submit” tab which will redirect candidates to the preview page displaying all the entered details. Click on the “Edit” button to make any change in the details. To continue and proceed with the application process, click on the “Next” tab.
2. Academic Details
Here, candidates have to fill the application form with the following details.
- Roll number as in Class 12th and under-graduation (for PG) examination admit card
- Year of Passing class 12th and under-graduation (for PG candidates)
- Marks obtained in Class 12th and under-graduation(for PG candidates)
Next, click on the ‘Submit’ tab after all processes are completed. This will take candidates to the preview page of the DU SOL 2022 application form. To make any changes in the academic details, click on the ‘Edit’ option. In case all the details are correct, click on the ‘Next’ tab to move onto the next step.
Step 3 : Course Selection
- Candidates can select number of courses they wish to apply for.
- Click on the ‘Next’ button after selecting the programmes.
Step 4 : Uploading the Documents
In this section, candidates have to upload the documents mentioned below. The documents must be uploaded in proper lighting and all the details must be visible properly to avoid later repercussions.
- Candidate’s latest passport-sized photograph.
- Students’ signature
- Self-attested copy of mark sheet of Class 10th and 12th, all the three years mark sheets of UG and certificate.
- Scanned copies of candidate’s migration certificate if they passed from state boards other than Delhi such as Rajasthan, UP, Bihar etc.
- Students applying under reserved categories such as SC/ST/PWD/OBC should submit the self-testament copy of reserved category certificate.
- Students applying for Financial Aid should upload a self-attested copy of the BPL ration card.
