About the Delhi University

Candidates seeking admission to Delhi University after passing the 12th should visit www.admission.uod.ac.in for more information. Students seeking admission to the University of Delhi’s undergraduate programs should complete the Admission Form before the deadline.
The CUET entrance test and the performance test are required for candidates applying through the Sports and Extracurricular Activities (ECA) category. The candidates are selected based on their combined score for the CUET (25%) and the performance test (75%). Certificates will also be examined for the same with the CUET score.
According to the Delhi University admission policy, 50% of seats are reserved for minorities in specific colleges. There will be 85% of the marks taken from the CUET, and the colleges will decide on the remaining 15%. For the remaining 50% of seats, admission will be based on the CUET scores.

DU UG Admission 2022 – Eligibility Criteria
- For B.A. and B.A. (Honours in foreign language), the eligibility criteria is to complete 10+2 level board examination from a recognized board with a minimum aggregate of 40% and 45% marks.
- For B.A. (Honors in Indian Languages), the eligibility criteria is to complete 10+2 level board examination from a recognized board with a minimum aggregate of 40% and 45% marks and a minimum of 50% marks in the concerned subject.
- For B.Voc. and B.Com. programs, the eligibility criteria is to 10+2 level board examination from a recognized board with a minimum aggregate of 40% marks.
- For B.Com.(Honors), the eligibility criteria is to complete 10+2 level board examination with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks. The candidate should also opt for the following subjects in the qualifying exam – Mathematics or Business Mathematics.
- For B.Sc.(Honors in Statistics and Mathematics), the eligibility criteria is to complete 10+2 level board examination with at least 50% marks in Mathematics and a minimum aggregate of 45% marks.
- For B.Sc.(Honors in Botany, Microbiology, Zoology, Anthropology, Biological Sciences) programs, the eligibility criteria is to complete 10+2 level board examination with at least 50% marks in English and a minimum aggregate of 55% marks.
- For B.M.S., the eligibility criteria is to complete 10+2 level board examination with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in four subjects, including English and Mathematics.
DU UG Admission 2022 – Selection Process
Candidates seeking admission to the UG courses at Delhi University (except DU SOL and NCWEB) have to clear the CUET 2022 Exam. The combination of CUET examination score and e-counseling would determine the candidate’s selection to the university. Candidates who qualify for the CUET Exam must register for e-counseling at DU’s admission portal. Candidates will have two rounds of counseling, during which they will be given the option of filling out their college preferences on the DU website. According to the CUET results, DU colleges will be allotted to students based on merit.
There are three sections in the CUET 2022 entrance exam. The first section is language, the second section contains domain-specific topics, and the third section comprises general knowledge questions required for admission exclusively to the BA program. Candidates must appear in at least 1 out of 33 languages available. For Section II, Candidates must select at least 3 subjects they have studied as part of class 12th curriculum as domain-specific topics. Overall, candidates may choose up to 6 subjects in CUET 2022, one of which must be a language.

DU UG Admission 2022 – CUET 2022 Admit Card
Admit cards will be available online during the last week of May 2022 for registered candidates. Candidates can download their admit cards by logging on to the official website. The university will not send the admit cards via post or courier. A candidate cannot enter the examination hall without this document. Applicants must bring their photo ID and admit card to enter the exam hall on the test day.
