BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) is one of the most coveted three-year undergraduate business degrees in India. BBA from DU: Overview

DU offers BBA full-time three-year undergraduate degree through its various affiliated colleges that are considered top-tier in commerce. DU does not offer an integrated five-year BBA LLB course.

BBA from DU opens a door to several lucrative job opportunities through its quality education, affordable fee structure, and practical curriculum. Mostly, alumni prefer to pursue a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) post pursuing BBA. Entrepreneurship has also become a popular choice for BBA graduates.

Eligibility for BBA from DU:

  • To qualify to seek admission in BBA from DU, an aspirant must pass senior secondary (10+2) with a minimum of 60 percent from a recognized education board.
  • A relaxation of 5% is given to candidates SC, ST, CW, and PwD candidates.

Admission to BBA From DU:

Previously admission to DU BBA was facilitated through a common admission test DU JAT (Joint Admission Test). However, DU JAT has been scrapped from the academic year 2022 as a mode of admission to BBA. 

Now, the DU JAT has been replaced by Common University Entrance Test (CUET). It contains three sections which include any List A language, a minimum of three subjects of which maths is compulsory, and a general test of CUET (which includes GK, Current Affairs and Maths and Reasoning MCQs).

Candidates can register for the admission process on CUET’s official portal.  Based on CUET scores, final acceptance for DU BBA colleges would be made through an e-counseling process. The allotment of colleges will be merit-based.
