Admission to Bcom from DU
Earlier, Bcom from DU admissions were solely based on merit, however after the launch of the National Education Policy (NEP) the students wanting to pursue b.com programme from 2022 onwards in Delhi University, will have to appear for an entrance exam called Common university entrance test (CUET). In order to apply for Bcom from DU, 50% of the CUET score and 50% of performance score will be considered.
As per the latest CUET updates, the examination for admission in B.com from DU will be consisting of 4 sections:
- Section 1 (a) – 13 Languages
- Section 2 (b) – 19 Languages
- Section 2 – 27 Domain specific subjects
- Section 3 – General tests
The exam will be conducted in 2 slots, the duration of the first one being 45 minutes to 195 minutes, and second slot being of 45 to 225 minutes.

Cut-offs for Bcom from DU
After the provision of the CUET examinations, the Universities Grant Commission announced that no weightage will be given to the board exam score for admissions, however, universities are allowed to create their own eligibility benchmark based on board exam score. Henceforth, CUET score will be the sole deciding factor for admissions this year.
The cut-offs for Bcom from DU rests at more than 95 percent, the university releases the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and special drive cut-offs if seats are available for the students. Earlier, admission in popular programmes in top ranking colleges in the university demanded more than 90 percent marks based on merit, however with the launch of the National Education Policy and the decision regarding CUET and DUET exams, the pattern is bound to change.
