Tips for CUCET 2022
- Make a timetable and plan in advance: Divide the number of months you have in hand according to the subjects and how much time you think you need per subject.
- Make Micro Goals: Every day make micro or small goals to achieve. This way you will stay motivated to finish the tasks and studies by the evening and then you can give time to other things. When you will add these micro-goals per week you will be covering a good portion of each subject.
- Practise, practise, practise! : I can not emphasise enough on this but practise as many questions and mock tests/previous year papers as you can with a time limit. This will help you prepare according to the actual exam and you will be at ease.
- Choose the best CUCET books: Get your hands on the best books for each subject. Since the exam is a little new for undergraduate admissions in some universities, make sure to get the latest editions of all the books.

Tips for CUCET G.K. and Current Affairs
- Read any newspaper like The Hindu/Indian Express for 1 hour daily. Put special emphasis on reading their editorials which will improve your vocabulary and G.K. at the same time.
- Revise and practice questions weekly. Students tend to forget the facts with data real quick so make it a point to revise weekly and practice questions.
- Go through the past year’s G.K. section paper of other undergraduate exams like DUJAT/BBA exams etc. to get an idea of the type of G.K. questions asked.
Revise, practise, test yourself and revise. You got this!
These are the list of books out of which you can choose one or two books per subject and practise them repeatedly. Remember, for clearing CUCET 2022 you need to have good conceptual knowledge and speed to answer questions. So read, revise and practise questions and then solve mock tests.
Note: There is not such single best book for CUCET, each book has its pros and cons and will suit different students depending on their needs and where they stands. Some of you may ace exams by just going though 1 or 2 books while others may struggle even though they have completed multiple number of books. It depends on how strong your fundamentals are.
Also remember more books doesn’t imply b better preparation; you can easily get confused and lose your precious time. We would recommend you to go through the book list carefully and choose 1 or 2 book in each section that suits your need.
You should now be ready to study with focus and dedication consistently. Read newspaper editorials side by side to enhance your reading skills, vocabulary and general awareness too.
All the best, and may you get through your dream college!
